How you promote your horse or stallion can be just as important as how well your horse presents himself. There is no finer way to capture that message than with a professional video. A professional equine video that is designed to focus attention and interest on your horse.
Many horse people dread the feared sales tape. In fact, that's how I got started making equine videos. My girlfriend, a breeder of Andalusians and dressage fanatic, kept pressing me into duty as the video guy. With my 15 years in video production and network news, the results were far better than what she had seen before.
Your quality video not only makes your horse look better, it reflects your commitment to selling a premium horse. It also holds the attention of sales prospects that may be looking at many other tapes, most of them too long and too shaky.
One of the most important parts of the video is the planning of it. What are your goals for the video? Do you want to feature the jumping ability of your horse, or present the perfect Prix St. George test? What style of music best reflects your horse and his personality. My video planner (PDF) will help you think through what your final piece will look like, and will help me make it look as good as possible.
I offer "package plans" create a basic sales video for one horse, with a short (~20 second) opening sequence with, and graphic overlays with the names of your horse, and at the end of the video with your contact information. Delivery is available on miniDV & DVCam, VHS or DVD. Other formats available at extra charge. Professional standards conversion (USA>Europe) is available using the Snell & Wilcox Atlantis format converter.
I am also available for hire on a daily basis to do your more elaborate productions for stallion and farm videos. All prices (rate card PDF) are quoted for shoots on our farm in Barboursville, VA, a short 20 minute drive north of Charlottesville in the heart of Virginia Wine Country. Our 75' x 150' stone dust arena is fully fenced and has wonderful afternoon light. Boarding is available on site.
